Maharajas' Express - Treasures of India
Dates for 2025-26 & 2026-27 Seasons
Morning (06:30 hrs): Begin your journey with a warm, traditional welcome and check-in at Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station, followed by breakfast on board.
08:00 hrs: The Maharajas’ Express sets off for the iconic Pink City of Jaipur.
- 12:00 – 13:00 hrs: Attend an informative tour briefing on board before enjoying a delicious lunch.
Afternoon (14:30 hrs): Arrive in Jaipur and head out for a guided excursion to the impressive Amber Fort.
- Evening (20:00 hrs): Return to the luxurious comforts of the train for a delectable dinner on board. Overnight stay on the train in Jaipur.
- Morning (08:00hrs): Start your day with a luxurious breakfast on board. Followed by a cultural tour visiting the City Palace Galleries, the Jantar Mantar Observatory, and the landmark Albert Hall Museum.
Evening (18:00 – 21:30 hrs): Head out for an exclusive, grand dinner at the majestic Rambagh Palace before returning to the train.
23:00 hrs: The Maharajas' Express departs overnight for Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore)
- Early Morning (06:00 hrs): Arrive in Sawai Madhopur and embark on an exciting wildlife safari in Ranthambore National Park.–home to more than 80 Bengal Tigers, besides other wild life animals including leopard, nilgai, wild boar, sambar, hyena, sloth
bear, southern plains gray langur, rhesus macaque, chita, among others. The sanctuary is home to a wide variety of trees, plants, birds, reptiles, as well as one of the largest banyan trees in India. - 09:45 – 10:15 hrs: Return to the train for a hearty breakfast as the Maharajas' Express begins its passage toward Agra.
13:30 hrs: Sumptuous lunch served on board.
16:00 – 18:30 hrs: Arrive in Agra and visit the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site, Agra Fort.
Evening (19:30 hrs): Step back on board to enjoy a lively "Indian Cultural Evening" complemented by a fine dining experience.
Early Morning (06:00 hrs): Arrive at Agra and head out early to witness the breathtaking Taj Mahal.
09:00 hrs: Enjoy a memorable breakfast experience at Taj Khema overlooking the iconic monument.
11:00 – 13:30 hrs: Return to the train to relax and indulge in a final on-board lunch.
Late Afternoon (16:30 hrs): Arrive back in Delhi. Disembark and bid farewell to the Maharajas’ Express crew as your royal journey comes to a close.

Booking Procedure
- Advice preferred date of journey with cabin type & number of passengers.
- We require Name/Nationality/Date of Birth/Passport Numbers of all the passengers to process booking request.
- Booking will be confirmed on receipt of MINIMUM 30% advance deposit of Ticket Value.
- Balance Payment must reach us at least 70 days before tour depart.
- Booking request made less than 70 days before tour depart, will be confirmed on receipt of one time full deposit of ticket value.
- Payment can be made by Bank Wire transfer OR Online Credit Card Authorization.
- To issue Travel documents, we require Passport Copy of all passengers & Reservation Form.
- Advice interest to Book Hotels in New Delhi & Mumbai or customized package tours pre/post train tour journey.
- Passengers are advised to pre-book Tour Insurance from country of origin of travel.
Cancellation Terms
- Royal Indian Trains Company is Authorized Booking Agent of Train Operator (IRCTC) & our liability is limited to that of Booking Agent Only.
- All requests for cancellation must be made in writing & acknowledged by us.
- Minimum 30% of ticket value will be charged as cancellation fee if booking cancelled > 65 days before tour depart.
- Minimum 55% of ticket value will be charged as cancellation fee if booking Cancelled between 64 days to 50 days before tour depart.
- Full 100% of ticket value will be charged as cancellation fee if booking cancelled < 49 days before tour depart.
- Request for Change in Passenger Name/Journey Date as per IRCTC policy.
- All overseas refunds ,as per cancellation policy are subject to rules & regulations of Reserve Bank Of India.
- Royal Indian Trains reserves the right to deduct US$ 100 bank processing fee to process overseas funds & will be refunded in equivalent INR Rupees as per amount received.
- Train Tour Operator (IRCTC) reserves the right to cancel the scheduled depart if occupancy is less & refund the advance received (with NO further liability).
